NUNDA RIVER LODGE
Nunda River Lodge, situated in the Caprivi Strip of Namibia, is an experience you will seldom encounter on the African continent with its homely relaxed atmosphere enhanced with a true African wildlife experience.
LOCATION
Nunda River Lodge is situated approximately 910 km north of Windhoek, 210 km east of Rundu, then turn off at Divundu. Once Nunda River Lodge turn-off is reached, follow the gravel road for 1km.
ACCOMMODATION
Nunda River Lodge offers 7 large tastefully furnished, twin bed, en-suite Meru tents, built on wooden decks. Each unit is set amongst huge trees & shrubs offering privacy & seclusion. Nunda River Lodge also provides 3 large thatched, twin bed, en-suite chalets. All units have covered decks which overlook the river. Comfortable two roomed, twin bed guide unit with shared ablution facilities are available.
CAMPING
Fully grassed campsites on the banks of the Kavango river. 2 sites for larger groups. Each site has a braai area, seating, running water, light & electrical point. Ablutions are immaculate & spacious.
FACILITIES
Nunda River Lodge has a lapa, thatched restaurant, bar, curio shop, lounge & reception area. Large wooden decks overlook the Kavango river as well as a large swimming pool.
ACTIVITIES:
Guided game drives(in Mahangu & Bwabwato National Parks), boat cruises, angling expeditions & traditional Mokoro trips down the river, camping excursions to Khaudum National Park, guided birding & nature walks & cultural walks through traditional villages.
